Care and Time Poverty Policies in Brazil

MADE-USP is a research center for feminist economics that is heading an in-depth study of the care economy in Brazil. Working closely with the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family, and Fight Against Hunger, the initiative aims to reduce the burden of unpaid care work on women.

By enhancing national care infrastructures, MADE-USP seeks to improve women’s economic participation and reduce income and time poverty, stimulating the economy and contributing to more equitable and sustainable development.
