RED ALAS is transforming legal education in Brazil, Mexico, and other countries in Latin America through five key pathways, focusing on promoting women’s rights and addressing discrimination based on gender and sexuality. The initiative aims to produce legal knowledge and build awareness of how the law creates gender disadvantage. It also seeks to improve classroom dynamics and university policies, while supporting women in the legal sector and collaborating with activists to disseminate knowledge. Through these efforts, RED ALAS intends to transform legal education to ensure gender equality and justice.
