ICRW-Africa aims to strengthen women-owned childcare businesses and expand access to affordable childcare in Kenya. By providing high-quality data and solutions, the initiative seeks to reduce unpaid care work and promote gender equality. The project will impact five million people, including over 2 million children, 60,000 women childcare business-owners, and 60,000 households across Kenya.

The research aims to help enhance childcare services, boost women-owned businesses, support marginalized families, and improve education and gender equality.
