Fundar

Economic Opportunity

Fundar advocates for the rights of women agricultural workers in Mexico, aiming to improve economic opportunities, access to healthcare, and organizing power. Women face disproportionate labor rights violations in the temporary agriculture sector; this initiative seeks to benefit 486,165 women workers by securing legal employment contracts, access to Social Security numbers, enhanced organizing capacity, and increased awareness of reporting mechanisms.

In this way, Fundar empowers women to assert their labor rights, access essential services and advocate collectively.
