Improving the Climate in the Field of Economics

This three-year initiative, led by the American Economic Association, aims to improve the professional climate in the economics discipline and cultivate the next generation of female leaders. 

The initiative targets all 250-plus economics departments in the United States, and will gather data to inform programming and interventions. The initiative plans to implement best practice workshops for department chairs and other economic associations, sexual harassment training, bystander training and professional development programs for graduate students.
