As Operations Assistant, she supports key HR initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefits and organization-wide people and culture efforts. She also provides essential operations support, ensuring our global team has what they need to thrive.

Rachel brings to the role 7+ years of experience in HR and people operations, executive support and administration. Before joining Co-Impact, she led people operations initiatives at BuildX Studio, where she established the HR function and developed its processes and systems.

Rachel is a certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP-K), holds a BSc in Public Health from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton, a Diploma in Human Resources and is currently pursuing an MSc in Global Human Resources at King’s College London. Based in Nairobi, she lives with her husband and two sons.
