Our Team

Co-Impact’s team spans eight countries across five continents. We support coalitions of changemakers — from grassroots organizations to governments — to drive meaningful, lasting change at scale.

With expertise across global philanthropy, strategic partnerships, systems change and advocacy, our team works closely with partners to help realize our vision of a world in which health, education, and economic opportunities belong to everyone.

Learning, measurement and evaluation

We know that meaningful change depends on continuous learning. That’s why we support our partners to track progress, reflect on what’s working, and adapt their approach over time — and we do the same ourselves.

We focus on building learning cultures that support better decisions and stronger results. We also share evidence and insights to help build momentum and deliver broader systems change.

By staying curious, open, and willing to learn from both success and failure, we aim to keep improving our work, supporting our partners, and contributing to better practice across the philanthropy field.

Research

Through our Foundational Fund, Co-Impact has brought together more than 40 funders from 16 countries committed to enabling transformative and equitable systems change for millions of people. Funders join the collaborative in order to pool or align their resources, networks, and experience, creating significant leverage for their effort and resources. Together, our funding partners support powerful, locally-rooted coalitions to build robust and resilient societies for the long term.

Evidence Reviews

We also commissioned additional evidence reviews on topics relevant to advancing gender-equitable systemic change in health, education, and economic outcomes, particularly for women and girls.

These reviews sought to answer the following questions:

1

What is the evidence about what works to achieve gender equitable outcomes at scale and in the Global South, in the foundational systems of health, education and economic opportunity?

2

What is the evidence about what works to advance women’s leadership overall, and specifically in the professional sectors of laws and economics, in the Global South?

Below we share the papers that have been completed to date. Other papers in development will be added as they are completed. These papers represent independent interpretations of the authors and are meant to spur thinking and action.
